Saraswati Rangaswamy

Saraswati Rangaswamy is Sharath Rangaswamy’s mother and the daughter of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. She joined the family teaching team in 2003 when the new Shala opened in Gokulum, Mysore. She is an incredibly hard worker, and has a steady, strong, and loving presence. Some students graciously call her “Amma,” which means mother, as her energy is very nurturing.
